Our Junior Cricket programmes are designed to accommodate a wide age range and abilities. PETWORTH PARK SPORTS
Set inside the beautiful 700 acre National Trust deer park, Petworth Park Sports Ground is home of Petworth Park Cricket Club and Petworth Football Club and supported by Petworth Town Council. PPCC and PFC are affiliated members of Petworth Park Sports CIC who are licensed to run the sports ground, bar and pavilion. PPS is a community interest company (CIC), a 'not for profit' company; any profit generated is used to grow and develop the facilities at the sports ground for the benefit of the community. Membership of PPCC automatically includes associate membership of PPS which enables all PPCC members to access the PPS members bar and pavilion facilities. For more information about PPS go to www.petworthparksports.co.uk

Friday nights at Petworth Park Sports are ‘Friday Family Fun Nights’ when the pavilion bar is open to members serving drinks, snacks and hot food; and a range of lawn sports are available for members use, so you can enjoy a relaxing start to your weekend whilst your child is enjoying their cricket session! The PPS pavilion bar is open to members from 5pm every Friday evening throughout the year and membership of Petworth Park Sports is included in every membership of PPCC.

We Need You!

We encourage parents to get as involved with the Club as much as they can, so if you are interested in helping out on our junior cricket evenings, or would be willing to manage a team on match days, please let us know!
In particular we would be grateful for help with the following this season:

  • parent coaching support (getting involved in cricket sessions)

  • managing a team

  • registration (checking attendees in and out of sessions)

  • helping to run PPS bar (supporting the bar person)

  • catering (help on the BBQ or in the kitchen)
  • None of the above require any prior experience as you will be fully briefed - just some willing hands to make light work! Even if you are only able to spare just one or two sessions out of the whole season it would be an amazing help.

If you'd like to get in touch please email us at juniors@petworthparkcricket.org

If you would like to discuss a possible bursary please see the information in this link: PPCC BURSARY
