Over those 100 games, Gus has become a massive part of the club both on and off the pitch helping lead the 1st XI through one of the most successful periods in the club’s history.

Gus oversaw an incredible run of three promotions in a row, including two league titles, helping drive the club forward during a memorable era for PPCC cricket.

Of course, no cricket career comes without its lighter moments too…

According to the captains, Gus’s “worst” moments include a habit of getting run out and somehow managing not to dispatch the occasional free hit!

But that’s cricket and anyone who’s shared a dressing room with Gus knows exactly what he brings to the club: commitment, leadership, competitiveness and plenty of laughs along the way.
