Petworth Park CC

Established in 2024, our 3rd XI strengthens Petworth Park CC’s commitment to competitive adult cricket, complementing our 1st and 2nd XIs. The team provides an inclusive environment where players of varying experience levels can enjoy the game and develop their skills.

The 3rd XI competes in Sussex Cricket League Division 12 West (North West), engaging in regular Saturday fixtures throughout the season.

Training takes place on Tuesday evenings at 6 pm at our home ground nestled within the stunning, historic Petworth Park. Our sports ground offers panoramic views of the South Downs - making every training session and match a truly beautiful experience.

A Pathway for Emerging Talent
Our 3rd XI serves as a vital bridge for emerging players transitioning from junior cricket to adult competition. Many of our junior players, aged 8–15, have the opportunity to progress into adult cricket through this team, gaining valuable experience and confidence. This pathway is supported by our ECB-qualified coaches and structured training sessions, ensuring a seamless progression from junior to adult cricket.
